RSSHappy 4th of July! We started the morning with the Brookfield parade (just like last year). This year we sat in the shade and Alex seemed to realize what was going on. I think the boys had more fun when Wade was playing “parachute” with the blanket.
We had a lazy afternoon of playing outside. Wade had an extra bag of sand and used it to level out a spot in the front yard. Alex thought a sandbox had been created just for him:
This year we took Alex to his first fireworks show. He did great with being up late, the loud noise, and bright lights. I think he pretty much loved it all.
