Kaitlyn has been eating apples for a while. She started with pureed and took a while to eat the small cubes. When I started to give her slices (like her brothers) she really started to eat them. Yesterday it was freezing cold and I was desperate to get her to wear a hat outside without screaming bloody murder. I decided to give her a full apple to eat and then put a hat on her head. With her hands busy, she couldn’t pull the hat off. It worked like a charm. What amazed me is she ate that apple all day. In fact, at the end of the day she had barely the seeds left (meaning she ate more of a whole apple than either of my boys can eat).
I happily gave her one again today when she asked.
