The boys each have a dresser in their room (Alex’s is red and Teague’s is blue). Alex’s dresser is part of a bedroom suite I bought in high school. It’s pine furniture but it has been fantastic furniture. I have split up the pieces and painted them different colors for different rooms throughout the years. Teague’s dresser has needed to go for years. In fact, the only reason we kept it in Milwaukee was for storage in the basement. Then we were desperate for additional clothing storage in the boys’ room and put it in as a temporary solution. For the past year I have been looking for a dresser, but really hoping to find an exact match to Alex’s. Wouldn’t you know I found one this week. I debated and debated. I finally bought it and decided to go ahead and try to get it painted before we moved. Here is the before and hopefully you’ll see an after picture before to long when we reach Chicago!
