Wade’s birthday was today and we celebrated BIG. The morning started with letting Wade sleep in for a little while (we do have three kids so this is relative). Then the boys picked two presents for him to open – theirs of course! (What Dad wouldn’t want six boxes of Triscuits?)

Then we loaded everyone up for breakfast at Waffle House. The workers got the biggest kick out of us and we had the best time. They did say this was the first time they had seen Birthday candles in a chicken breast (candles wouldn’t stand up in the hash browns.)

After errands for Dad (his requested afternoon activity) and naps for the rest of us, we had more presents, a BBQ dinner, and then a cookie dessert. It turns out a birthday dessert isn’t as much fun just a few weeks after finding out you are lactose intolerant.
